The Urhobo Young Lawyers Forum (UYLF) is a vibrant platform that brings together Urhobo law students, young lawyers, and recent graduates across Nigeria and the diaspora. We are a community committed to growth, mentorship, and impact—uniting young Urhobo legal minds to prepare for excellence in law, governance, business, and public service.
We are calling on passionate young Urhobo lawyers and law students (male and female) who are interested in building a meaningful legal career and shaping the future of Urhobo land and Nigeria at large.

Meet our founder
Princess Barr. Omeyoma Eshemitan
Princess Barr. Omeyoma “Yoma” Eshemitan is a Nigerian lawyer, environmental advocate, and entrepreneur. A proud princess of Oghara Kingdom, she is widely recognized for her commitment to justice, sustainability, and youth empowerment.
She is the Founder of Mitan Energy Company Limited, a company championing safe and reliable energy solutions across Nigeria. She is also the Founder of the Urhobo Young Lawyers Forum (UYLF), a platform dedicated to strengthening legal awareness, mentorship, and youth leadership within the Urhobo nation. In addition, she established Cleanpick Green Nigeria, an initiative promoting recycling, waste management, and climate education at the grassroots level.Yoma currently serves as the Legal Adviser to the Youth Wing of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) and sits on the NBA-YLF Energy & Sustainability Committee, where she contributes to national discussions on environmental justice and sustainable development.

With the support of UPU (Urhobo Progress Union), Mitan Energy Company Limited , The Queen of Oghara kingdom, The chiefs of Oghara and Urhobo young lawyers, the chiefs had the honor and privilege to launch the first ever Urhobo young lawyer’s forum to accommodate and unite all vibrant, youthful lawyers of Urhobo indigene worldwide for the defense of urhobo territories and the development of Urhobo young lawyers professionally live at Oghara kingdom within the Ethiope west local government of Delta state.
